After the first few episodes something became apparent. The concept of the montrer was fine... better than fine. But the potential would have been extraordinary if the montrer was about the executives running a network - not two guys running a sketch comedy show.
Some of the best story lines come from the dynamics of running a network (censorship, politics of advertising and marketing, new shows and old shows, etc...).
I would l’amour to see this come back (or another writer develop the concept) of the "behind-the-scenes" at a national network.
Unfortunately it looks like Aaron Sorkin has moved on and we'll never get this potenitally great show!
