What is your favori Stephen King book/movie and why?

kingdom hospital is my favori movie, because it is full of mystery, its scary, and very sad. plus, the songs they chose are very good.

The Green Mile (book and movie) is pretty good.

My favourite book is The Stand, and my favourite movie is The Shining.

I prefer the livres to the films myself, and of those livres I think 'Needful Things'. It's about a subject that eternally fascinates me - human greed - and it's handled with such dark story-telling and deftness of touch. And it's, in my opinion the FUNNIEST of his novels. There's so much cynicism and hilarity in it, so many weird, conflicted characters. Also, I found Leland Gaunt bloody terrifying - one of his scariest ever characters. I also like 'It' - it's the first I ever read but I now find it a bit long.

My favori movie is "Carrie"--the original film, not the remake. Choosing a favori book is hard, but "The Dead Zone" certainly would be at the haut, retour au début of the list.

the shining is my favori movie of all time. It's just flawless. Stanley Kubrick is a perfectionist and toi can totally see it in the movie. The film is perfect mental horror, unlike other films with blood, murderers, and knifes which in my opinion aren't scary at all. A movie like the Shining will never be made.

the shining for some of it could be realistic. someone could actually go crazy from being shut off of the world and try to kill their family
