That is actually the wrong answer. Spongebob was the one dropped on his head when he was a baby, and the person who told toi that was probably on a not-well website.
Patrick isn't completely dumb, and he has shown many signs of intelligence. When Spongebob accidentally shrunk the two into Squidward's body, Patrick saved the jour (well, for once). When Mrs. Puff gave Patrick a boating test, he passed (Unlike Spongebob who is suppose to be smarter). In Patrick Man! Patrick dresses as a super hero and pops The Dirty Bubble with his ice cream cone (Although this doesn't count 'cause he didn't plan it)
