“Stupid Sonic… Blaze… going out… jerk face.” Amy mumbled to herself while walking around. “What’s wrong with me, Sonic? I’m I too pretty for you?” she yelled, though no one paying attention to her. She then heard running foot steps behind her and turned around to see Sonic there.
“Someone called?” he a dit pointing at himself.
Amy a dit nothing, but glared at him with her ‘what-do-you-think’ look. “Why?!” she yelled.
“Why what?”
“Don’t play stupid with me, Sonic.” Amy a dit folding her arms, “I know about toi and Blaze. Why her? What’s wrong with me?”
Sonic scratched his head, “I like her.”
“How do toi like her, what about me? I always tried to make toi into me then Blaze comes around the corner, toi ask her out and toi barely know her. toi know me way better than her!”
“I like her because she’s different, I am getting to know her better, and she doesn’t want to kill me with a hammer.”
“But I- you… All my life I tried to make toi like me. I’ll admit I chased toi around all my life and I didn’t do anything fun for myself. Blaze didn’t even try to win your heart; she made it look so easy.” Amy said, trying to keep the sadness out of her voice.
“It’s not my fault, besides now that toi finally a dit something about that, toi can do stuff for yourself. Alright, I’m sorry toi spent your life chasing me around, but that doesn’t mean toi ought to give up.”
“So toi will give me a chance?” Amy squealed, jumping up and down, clapping her hands together.
“No! Ahem, no. I mean, toi shouldn’t give up everything ‘cuase of me. What I mean is, try finding someone else for your life.” Sonic a dit putting a hand on her shoulder.
Amy stopped jumping, “how can I do that when you’re the only one I ever liked?”
“You’re gonna have to figure that out yourself .Who knows, maybe you’ll find out that I wasn’t the one cut out for you. After all, Blaze was the…” Sonic trailed off to see Amy’s hurt face. “Ok I won’t finish that, but maybe it will be someone else.”
“That’s what toi think.” Amy said, holding in the tears and walked off.
Sonic followed her, “Amy, I’m sorry; I’ll make it up to you.” He grabbed her shoulder to turn her around and kissed her on the cheek.
Amy stood there with mouth opened, brushing the tears off, “That’s how toi plan to make it up for me?”
“I thought toi would be happy, toi always wanted a Kiss from me. So there toi have it.”
“Yeah, but not there.” Amy said.
“Well it’s better than nothing, isn’t it?” Sonic asked.
Amy lowered her face to ground, “Yes, but-”
“You want more? I told toi Amy I can’t Kiss toi there ‘cause then-”
“Not that.” She a dit lifting her head though her voice lowered, “Can you… Kiss me one plus time to make it official? On the cheek, I don’t want to put problems between toi and… Blaze.” She finished.
“Uh sure.” Sonic a dit once again gave her a peck on the cheek. “Look at the bright side, we’re still friends.”
Amy twitched a smile, “Yes we still are.”
“Yeah, now if toi excuse me I gotta go meet Tails at his workshop. In fact, I was supposed to be there 5 minutes ago. Before I go, did we settle everything?” Sonic asked.
Amy nodded.
“Alright, I’ll see toi around then.” Sonic waved and left before she could say anything.
Amy’s small smile faded and walked the opposite direction Sonic went, thinking what just happened was nothing, but a dream.
