Fun Facts #1

Key’s first love was back when he was in elementary grade. He is still friends with her.

Minho describes himself as a flame. He gets excited quickly, but also cools down easily.

Onew prefers strawberry milk over chocolate milk. (I’ll take chocolate!)

It agitates Minho when a fan would look at another member at a fansigning event when he’s right in front of her–giving her an autograph.

Onew knows how to knit. (That’s pretty cool!)

Minho feels awkward when he’s not with SHINee.

Taemin isn’t the type to get mad easily.

When Jonghyun drinks water, his pinky finger goes up. He thinks that this is a weird habit.

Onew’s idol is BoA. Seeing her strong stage presence makes him want to practice more. (BoA  )

Out of all the SHINee members, Onew trained the longest.

Minho and his friend were late for school. In Korea, you have to receive some sort of punishment for this. Knowing that Minho is a celebrity, the teacher let him go, but looking at his friend Minho stayed and said he’ll receive his equal punishment with his friend. This resulted in them both redemption from punishment. (That sounds scary! I hope the punishment is nothing serious. Minho is so nice!  )

Minho used to have a pet cat.

Minho had climbed into a pothole when he was a kid and saw two sewer men staring back at him. He screamed and climbed back out immediately. He has been afraid of potholes since that day onwards. (Hilarious!)

Taemin hates all kinds of bugs. (I don’t blame him!)

There was a girl that Key liked while he was at school, but she had a boyfriend. She would often show off what her boyfriend got her to Key and he hated it. Jonghyun said that maybe she was hinting at him that he should buy her something better.

When Key gets nervous, his voice suddenly changes to a higher pitch. It’s not like he’s trying to act cute. It just happens.

Onew is allergic to cucumbers, melons, watermelons and anything similar to them. (That’s why he doesn’t like cucumbers!)

Onew finds it cute when the other members creep up behind him to watch him when he plays a game.

On Minho’s 20th (19 int.) birthday, he got in a plane the day before his birthday. When he arrived in Korea, his birthday had already passed because of the time difference… he basically missed his own birthday. (That’s sad…)
