Premise: 4 years after Holmes' retirement to raise bees a Belgian detective familiar with his work proposes that he become headmaster at a new school for detectives he's developing.
What he's really planning is a school for young criminals to learn Holmesian methods and thus avoid the errors that normally lead to detection. Holmes suspects nothing but someone else does and sends a spy.
