Well, it’s nearing Christmas time, again, the end of the year, and the nearing of the new decade. Say goodbye to the 2010s and say hello to the 2020s. It certainly has been an interesting decade, huh? So much stuff happened. Like Dark Souls coming out in 2011 ou how Capcom managed to spring back after their late 2000s debacle… also some stuff with actual history that I don’t care about. Yeah, so, to celebrate the end of the decade, as well as to celebrate the Christmas season, I’m doing two- count them. Two!- different special events. The first one is a review of the lowest rated games on Metacritic (as of 2019) and play them each jour up until Christmas. That’s right, 25 days of playing the worst rated games for as far as I can and giving toi a review of them for as much as I can handle. This will be called Merry Freakin’ Christmas. Now toi may be thinking, Nik, didn’t Scott the Woz already talk about the lowest rated Metacritic games, and also, didn’t Angry Video Game Nerd do a whole Christmas special about reviewing games for twelve days? Yeah. They did. But like Tarantino, I want to mix up things and then make them bigger until they’re my thing, but with less feet. So get ready for a full mois of bad games.
Now for the other thing, an article that will be uploaded on the night of Christmas Day, it is what In-Indie has been leading up to for half a an now. That’s right, I’m talking about the In-Indie Awards 2019. Now Awards mean nothing on the quality of a game, and these will be no exception, but I’m gonna hand them out anyway. With the help of some friends, we narrowed down five games for each entry and toi will be voting for them and decide which one is the best. The votes will start on December 1st and will continue up until December 24th, so get voting (Assuming toi care) and see which games win the awards. So yeah, December is looking to be a pretty good year. And for those wondering, “Nik, why didn’t toi have time to watch one movie a jour on October this an but had plenty of time to review horrible games in December?”. That is a good question…. So I hope toi all look vers l'avant, vers l’avant to the articles this an and I hope toi all have a great winter solstice holiday and all that.
