MDR yeah I asked this question to someone else as well when I first joined Fanpop.
the only secret to it is to post a BUNCH of links, photos, videos, picks...etc onto a particular spot. Make sure the stuff toi post is good because to get a medal ASAP, it all depends on the ratings toi get for each item. So if most of your stuff is rated 4 ou 5 stars, then you'd be getting a medal (or upgrading) pretty quickly, but if there's no ou low rating, then it's gonna take longer.
so basically, toi need to spend a lot of time on one spot if toi wanna get a medal, otherwise if you're like me who just likes to chill and hang around on Fanpop, then it can take a while~ :D

There isn't an actual answer to that, the f4 keeps it secret of how many contributions u have to make to a spot to get a badge. It does take a while though! It took me 5 months to become a dedicated fan of a spot!
