Yes, though part of me is nervous about all the different responsibilities I'll have as an adult, I think I'll do well at managing them.

toi got to experience life to the fullest, the good and the bad included. toi cannot experience all life has to offer if toi remain a kid forever. growing up just means plus responsibilities and less slack, but it also means plus freedom and plus possibilities.

and even when toi grow up, toi can always be a kid at heart.

Absolutely. I can't explain how much I want to be 18. I will be done with high school, déplacer away, actually meet my friends, vote, decide what I do with my own time, be treated as an equal, make my own money, choose what to do with that money, hopefully get married, so on. My future is almost all I think about now. I don't even spend money anymore, I'm just saving it for adulthood.
