I have many réponses for this question, actually, as well as a few stories. First story: Outside a night club a few months ago, a guy tried picking a fight with me, simply because he was drunk and felt like being a jerk... because I ignored him and told him to f**k off and stop being an ass, he tried to then pick on my friend, after attempting (again) to get in the nightclub. So, he pushed my friend up against the wall, while the bouncers just stood there and did nothing... so, I walked up to him, even though he was about twice my size, and shoved him away, to which he then tried to attack me, but, being drunk, his motor skills were abysmal and he couldn't even hit me. I resisted the temptation to hit him back, even when the bastard tried to steal the unlit cigarette out of my mouth... of all the cheek. First answer: If there is a peaceful way out of the situation, then that is the one I will take. If I can avoid fighting, then I will, because I dislike fighting and don't see any reason for it, unless it truly is necessary. seconde answer: I'll try and take a smart way out of the situation, if it is required. I.e. if someone is about to get stabbed with a couteau and I'm the only person around, then I'm outta there. This is not cowardly... why would I wish to lose my life for someone I don't even know, when they will still get stabbed, too? That's not smart. Best thing is to call the cops. Third answer: If the situation doesn't fall into either of the categories listed in the first two answers, then I will definitely help the person in need. I know this may sound kind of horrible, but, like I said, in the real world, things are much scarier and people are never as tough as they make themselves out to be over the internet, ou in stories. This I have learned from personal experience. seconde story: This is a point about being aware of dangerous situations. I was getting a lift accueil with some people I knew and the car we were in got bottled par some teenagers... so we drove after them, so we could find out what the hell they were doing throwing bottles at cars. When we stopped near them, we have got the wrong people somehow and they had a machete, a tire iron and looked mean and nasty... one was a skinhead. To cut a long story short, we ran away, but I was unlucky enough to get left behind... I got punched in the face par the skinhead, then they walked me to the corner of the rue and threatened me with the machete if my so-called 'friends' didn't come back. To this day, I'm surprised I didn't get stabbed. Third story: Another time, on the bus with my ex-girlfriend (she was my gf at the time, anyway), a guy asked how my night was going. I a dit it was going okay. About five minutes later, he got off the bus... on the way off the bus, he decided to hit me in the head. Moral of the story, people are assholes when they want to be. Watch out for them. Just remember that real-life situations are much different when they actually happen.
