Why aren't iPhone chargers called pomme juice...?

Because pomme jus, jus de is a drink and not something to be used as a charger.

I always l’amour to charge up my drinks with pomme chargers. I charge up every drink with chargers. Not just pomme drinks. That's why they are called chargers and not pomme juices. I conducted a study about this with my students in Harvard I know what I am talking about.
