Does anyone else think the "laugh track" thing on some TV shows is annoying?

YES! So annoying...

I do not like it when someone tells me when to laugh :P

I don't really pay attention to that

Actually, it's kinda creepy. Why? Because that laughter was recorded over seventy years ago, of an audience of adults.

So, technically, you're hearing the laughter of dead people.

Yes. So irritating. It was the only reason I stopped watching scooby doo, couldn't stand the stupid laugh track every 2 minutes. >_<

Yes extremely annoying.
But if toi think about it, it's kind of useful.
If the montrer was actually funny it wouldn't need a laugh track.
So if it does have a laugh track, that's how toi instantly know the montrer isn't going to be funny and most likely bad ~

I mostly watch drama dessins animés so there is no laugh track. Fun fact the laugh track that toi haer on tv shows was recorded in the 70's

Yes and no.
A) I ignore it
B) On some '90 shows, it was okay because they knew when to play it (like Fresh Prince). Today, the excessive use of the laughter recording played at the pathetic "jokes" the montrer pulls ticks me off. I just shut it off all together and go on the internet ou pratice weaving the herringbone on meh new weaving machine ;3

No because 1, it makes the jokes funnier to me, and 2, if it wasn't there I'd be the only one laughing and I think that's awkward.

Laugh tracts are way over used and ruin a what might be good shows, I can't handle the canned laughter long enough to enjoy the show.

Yeah, but I kind of ignore it.

Well, yes and no.

We all know it's plus fun to laugh with other people, instead of just laughing par yourself, so that's a good thing about the laugh track.

But when they use the laugh track when the character just says a normal sentence then it's just damn annoying -_-
