I have a question...

Ummm how do I convince my teacher that I am the right person to play this character in a school play/musical we're doing? Really need your help guys! If I don't get her to give me this part,I'll get stuck with this really crappy role... Please help!

I'd say just talk to her. toi can never go wrong with being honest. Explain that toi really want the role and would l’amour to audition for it, and hopefully she'll give toi a chance.
