No, us humans cant control who we are attracted to most of the time. So I dont think its like the animal kingdom.

Humans are diffrent than animals. Sometimes the females attracts males sometimes males atract females. Sometimes females atract females and sometimes males atract males.

The purpose of mating for most animaux is reproduction and reproduction only, and animaux can only reproduce with animaux of the opposite sex.
There are some animaux that have been known to display homosexual behavior.

Unless toi were saying that with humans it's usually the female who attracts the males instead of males attracting females.
If that's the case, I think it's divisé, split pretty evenly. We're all trying to attract each other, regardless of gender.
