Braces

So, I've had my braces for over 2 years now and I should be getting them off soon (according to my orthodontist, I only need one plus tooth to grow in fully and then I can get them off :D). So I was wondering, if toi had braces how did they take them off? And how was it when they scraped the glue off? That metal-scraping-tooth sound makes me cringe...and did it hurt?

Oh, that majorly sucks for me, then. xD I'm getting my braces off sometime suivant year, and I'm NOT looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to that.
