What exactly is karma?

"Everything that happens to us is the result of something we did".
That's karma.
Basically, is the result of actions ou decisions we did in the past even if we don't remember them ou considered them irrelevant.
That's why people say 'Karma's a bitch', because those decisions ou actions get back to us.

I believe that was the original meaning from the Eastern religions that believe in reincarnation. Now a days people use it as a slang for every jour life. If toi do something bad, something bad will happen to toi in the future. (in this life) ou a populaire phrase puts it as, "What goes around, comes around." Hope that helps.

Karma-the sanskrit word for "action".

It means if toi do something bad in the present time, something bad will happen to toi in the future, but toi don't know what it is yet.

Karma means balance. Peace and balance in the universe. Every little good thing toi do... every evil thing, it comes back at you, it bounces somehow. Not really the same thing, I mean if toi kill someone, it don't have to die, but you're going to live the rest of your crappy life in jail. On the other hand, a good deed will bring toi happiness, everything is directly proportional with what toi do. So take care, karma is right behind you, ready to bite your cul, ass whenever it gets the chance :D.

What goes around comes around. In other words, toi do ou say something ignorant to someone, it'll all come back on you.

Example: If toi slap someone across the face, guarantee you'll get slapped back
