I l’amour Vampire Chronicles par Ann riz but my favori vampire series is The Vampire Diaries par L.J. Smith. If toi have plenty of time read both. :)

There's a few I know of/love that have paranormal/fantasy elements but they don't involve vampires and they're plus realistic fantaisie (if that makes sense) so I don't know if you'd be interested. One does have a man with blue skin and a boardwalk though.

toi should read Night Road par A.M. Jenkins! it's about vampires, but they consider the term vampire to be an insult, so they call themselves hemes..... toi have to read it, it is amazing!

And this isn't at all relevent, and it isn't exactly a "book" unless you're like me and consider manga to be livres (Which they are, par the way.) but Soul Eater has a really good plot. AND it has Death the Kid! I'm obsessed, so I'm going to recommend it even though it really doesn't match any sort of theme toi just listed, really... Because it's awesome and I am over obsessive with practically everything I come in contact with... Especially Soul Eater... XD

Impossible par Nancy Werlin. BEST fantaisie BOOK I EVER READ.

Matched par Ally Condie. Not fantasy, plus of a dystopian science fiction romance, but it's still worth checking out.

The Mercy Thompson novels par Patricia Briggs. Vampires, werewolves, shapeshiftrs, fae, ghosts, romance, l’amour triangles, mystery, everything a good fantaisie book needs is in it. I'm not a big fan because it's not really my kinda thing, but they're still amazing books.

I have to say "Cryer's Cross" is one that won't leave toi dissapointed~ It is really spooky!

For graphic novels try: Rosario Vampire, Hell Girl, Black Butler, Ghost Hunt, Higurashi When They Cry, Hellsing, and Vampire Knight are good choices~ (I l’amour manga~!)
