Why u press harder on remote control when u know da battery is dead?????

I put it to disbelief and laziness to be honest. toi can't believe that batteries will go flat/dead in such a short l’espace of time.
And batteries 'go dead' as the chemicals inside to make them work are used up. Like when we die, our 'spirit' is used up, and all the jus, jus de that keeps us alive runs out. So in a way batteries are alive, just not in the sense we know of it.
