aléatoire Question

An important issue, so answer please.

I'm not gay, nor lesbian, etc....
Plus, I don't see any wrong with being gay, lesbian, homo ou bi! I don't see any right with this either.. Which means that I'm neutral.

But I just have a little question, why each time I say to a girl that I like/love her, she understands me the wrong way? However, my mind is totally pure par saying that to her. Precisely Americans (no offense to any of them). I'm female though, and I usually like girls as my best friends, ou even as my sisters, not as AHEM!
I like to talk to girls plus than talking to guys.
All my group Friends is full of girls.
I play with them, having fun together (don't let your mind go to the wrong side please, handle it)..I'm really sick of this. Like imagine it, every time I say to a girl "I like you" she objects strongly and says "I'm not a gay", even though, I'm not either. that happened to me once and I was absolutely embarrassed par this. (Happened on Fanpop, par the way)

What are your thoughts on this? :/

I'm not a lesbian ou bi. Me and two girl Friends (two words, not one) say stuff like that, too. Those two are really my only two Friends that are girls. I hang out with guys more, cause I hate the drama girls bring. I have like four best Friends that are guys, and sometimes I get mistaken for being bisexual for the way I act. It's totally normal if toi hang out with girls plus than guys, ou guys plus than girls. Just quickly explain to them that toi aren't lesbian ou bi, toi just meant it in a friendly way. Me and my best guy friend tell eachother we l’amour eachother a lot, it doesn't change our relationship. Good luck with whatever happens.

I have lots of Friends (girls not guys) 'cause I prefer them, but my best friend is one. Only one. And I know her, as well as she does. And she doesn't bring the dramas all right at my face, 'cause I and her don't like this either. Anyway, the girls that I'm talking about I actually don't know very well. And I feel like I l’amour the way of how one of them think ou act, so I tell her "I like you", toi know the reaction after so.

Try politely explaining to them that toi meant it innocently.

toi think I have to do so? Well, I won't tell any girl that I like her then ignore her ou to tell her to stop, because I like her.. toi know.

Aw me, that has happened to me..(us?) too!
If they are not gay and I am not gay then there is no problem with it.

Just follow it up with a "no homo"
hoped this helped me!

toi kinda hurt me par say "Precisely Americans", but the "no offense.." sentence cured that.
Anyway, that happens a lot to me. I actually don't know what to say after then, and yes this so embarrassing, especially when toi say to her that toi like her and all she does is "objection".
I have the same reaction ,so I think I can't help out. Sorry.

u'll certainly have to forgive them. u see because some pplz minds are a little perverteed and also since maybe it might hav that type of enviroment around them thats the first thing that will pop into their heads, other ppl might take it the wrong way so try to ignore it, thats just how life has become these days, toi hav to watch everything u say otherwise ppl will look at u differently. but anyway, just ignore it.

It just goes to montrer toi that some people aren't the smartest...take no offense to that, as long as toi know what/who toi are toi don't have to worry about what other people think. Just make sure it doesn't get out of hand. I have plenty of girl Friends and we jokingly say stuff like that. It's like when toi tell your family toi l’amour them: it's not a romantic love, a family l’amour :D. Yeah, I'm American and some people are jerks. But it doesn't have to do with your nationality, I don't call people gay if they're the same gender as me and say "I love/like you" because I believe in having an open mind and it just doesn't bother me. Good luck!

Sorry about holding this all to Americans particularly, I knew I should have posté this part, even if it was one my head. And I know it doesn't have anything with nationalities. I meant that all Americans that I talked to myself thought of the same wrong way. Sorry again. ^^ And thanks for answering. I think I'm convinced now.

I'm glad you're better now :D. It's okay, everyone makes mistakes :D and it seems that the jerks are heard plus than the ones with sense...don't toi agree?

Yeah but I'm pretty sure ignorance is a learned skill.

For some reason people, Americans precisely (I'm American so nobody freak out) tend to jump to conclusions. That's why I never say in public that I find my favori actress cute (like a little chiot not in a lesbian way) because I know if certain people heard they'd take it the wrong way. I think a populaire American phrase (or at least one I've heard) that might help toi is LYLAS (Love toi Like A Sister). Hope I'm helpful.

Totally true. When I talk to any American I think of an American sentence that doesn't freak them out ou think of me the wrong way. Sorry about saying Americans though. *Blushing*.

It gets annoying when people need toi to elaborate on everything in order for no conclusions to be jumped to.
