Can i get an emancipation at 16 under my situation?
Can i get an emancipation at 16 under my situation?
i was adopted at 7 and the family i was adopted with i do not get along with. they are verbally/phsyically abusive. this has been reported to Child Protection Services. But they told me that i can get an emancipation when i turn 16 ou 17. But the problem is that my parents will not lett me get a job. Im homeschooled and i have no outside life outside my house. I have earned almost 600 service hours and if i have the money to put down 3 months of money for an apartment and if i take my act/sat test and have tons of letters of recommendation and character, also if i have a plan for my future and to get a job... do toi think that the judge will let me get an emancipation?
