I think my teacher is being innapropriate?

We were in Biology and we were stabbing a potato with these round things to get potato tubes and I was saying to my friends, "oh it's fun to stab the potato"

and the teacher overheard and was like "oh (my name), that's no approapriate, you're a sick puppy, aren't you?" and I was like WTFH.

I think it's highly innapropriate because it felt as if she was saying I was mentally disturbed, and she has no idea what I am going through. Anyways what do toi guys think?? 3 hommages to what I think is the best answer. Thnx.

^Does she know that toi are going through some problems? If yes, I'd definitely call it a dumb statement on her part.

I've had a lot of inappropriate teachers. And just plain horrible ones. One told this little an 7 boy that santa wasn't real, and he has mental issues, and he was crying for the rest of the day. I had a go at her for that, from then on I was the world's worst pupil. Beat her in the end though. My mum had a go at her at parent's evening and in the end my headmaster looked at all the evidence that proved she was a bad teacher (and there was a LOT of evidence) and she ended up getting the sack. :D


Though yes, back to your teacher, that wasn't right of her to say that. Teachers shouldn't be able to say things like that to students, even if they're joking around. It could be quite offensive. She could probably get in trouble for that, I don't know though. Definitely inapropriate though, yes.

Anyway, I have an idea we don't know everything about this yet, but if this is what actually happened, then it's really inappropriate.

Although, alot of teachers are really boring people. Can't they make jokes? If toi ask me, if someone actually got REAL offended par a joke like that, maybe he'she COULD be a bit of a sick puppy.

Come on, stabbing a potato is pretty fun.

@Jeffersonian, calling someone a sick chiot is always inappropriate. Just not so at a level where it is offensive, if toi know how to take a joke. If that person isn't joking, then it's offensive. I bet the teacher was just joking around.

it's the fact that it was an offensive commentaire because I am going through A LOT at the moment, and plus she is horrible to me and then jokes with me, so it doesn't make sense

True she doesn't know what you're going through, but that was rude. I thought teachers were supposed to be NICE to students?
