In films and livres do you?

I'll just use my favori movie as an example, well in my favori movie no I didn't hate his l’amour interest in fact I felt sad that she had to die so painfully at such a young age (movie is The Five People toi Meet In Heaven), the character I hated was Eddie (main character's) father because he was so cruel and unloving to Eddie . The character I liked best was Eddie's army captain (Captain) because he was extremely devoted to keeping his team together even going as far as shooting Eddie in the leg to keep him from burning up in a building he was about to go into.

I wouldn't say 'hate' but one of the types of characters that really annoy me are the bad boys with a cœur, coeur of gold. That is so cliche, it's starting to become a predictable staple for teen shows. I don't mind many other types of characters. I don't mind the perfect, bitchy, whiny girls.

And I usually l’amour male characters who kick an unnecessary amount of ass. Like literally. Jack Bauer is my favori character of all-time and he's a BAMF.
