Is this ok?? (details within)

So my Spanish teacher had a miscarriage and I felt really really bad for her. So I went up to her at the end of the lesson and talked to her about it. She a dit she was fine with it but she looked sad. So then she hugged me and had her head on my chest, around my collarbone (I'm 173cm ou 5ft 8 so she is shorter). I returned the hug then left thinking it was fine.

Then I later thought was it ok?? Should I have hugged her?? I just want a general opinion.

-Oh yeah; I'm in Australia and my Spanish teacher is in her mid twenties.

It depends whether it was something plus to toi than a friendly hug ou not. Not that I would use the word "wrong" either way.

Teachers aren't suppose to hug students full on hugs. Just side hugs.

But yeah i think that's okay.

Maybe I'm naive, but I've never seen anything wrong with hugging someone to comfort them. But that's just me. I hug people all the time.
