I know a guy and he's a very active sport player and he's soooo smart, it really scares me out, hehe xD.

It's seem s so but that's not to say they are from my observations there is one definite main offender of retardation.

that all depends on the person, a majority of jocks aren't real bright but the one of the jocks in my 8th grade graduating class got salutatorian, that means seconde best grade is the class

Of course not.I know people who are football, soccer, vollyball, and track players who are brillant.

no their not thats just tv,and books,sports players have to keep a good education to be able to play most if not all are very smart :)

no, the "dumb jock" persona is only a stereotype, especially in high school ou college sports, where one must maintain a certain GPA ou they wont be allowed to play. theres a reason they do that- its so the athletes dont make their sport their haut, retour au début priority.

I don't think so, I know many athletes that are very wise and down to earth.
