They killed the American version. Absolutely slaughtered it.
The Japanese version, however... ...is absolutely AMAZING! <3
So much they neglect and change in the American version. For example, did toi know "Li" is actually named "Syaoran"? And "Madison" is actually named "Tomoyo"? That's among several others (ex. Eli = Eriol, Meiling = Meilin) Did toi know that Yukito and Toya are actually dating? (Sakura's brother and Sakura's crush... they are supposed to be in love) Did toi know that Syaoran is bisexual, and actually has a crush on Yukito before he fell in l’amour with Sakura? (Many people deny this, saying "he was under a spell!" I personally think that they cannot accept the fact that a hero does not necessarily have to be straight.) Sakura is bisexual as well. She had a crush on Yukito, then she had a crush on her teacher, Ms. Mizuki, and THEN she realized her feelings for Syaoran. Tomoyo is lesbian. She is in l’amour with Sakura. AND MORE!
They cut out many very good scenes (including some very romantic ones with Sakura and Syaoran!) and they changed everything... If you've only seen Cardcaptors, toi probably think it's great. However, once you've seen CardCaptor Sakura... there is no comparison. It puts the American version to SHAME.
Yay for CardCaptor Sakura! <3

Tomoyo is not IN l’amour with Sakura actually. It's plus like sisterly l’amour
I like Cardcaptor Sakura. The Japaneses (and original) dub of Cardcaptors.I find it plus humorous and it apples better to the older kids like me I think it's age range is about 11-15.I honestly didn't like the English dub.It dose no compare in my eyes to the original. The characters are much plus real as well as they have better names and Sakura is pronounced correctly I suggest toi watch it!
toi guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
