Should vampires really sparkle?!?!?! Like REALLY??!!!

does anyone else think it's weird how in Twilight then don't burn in the sun..but sparkle?

When i went to go see New Moon and the part with Jacob came on without his shirt, the majority of the theater were awwing and going whoooooo. But me..i was laughing with the old couple suivant to me..it was a funny movie.
