I saw this documental one jour and what I understood was that the earth (or the universe) I don't have that very clear is held up par really really small strings... Plz don't insult me if I'm wrong (I'm not a physicist). And there was also something about lots of dimensions I think....

I got a book about String Theory...but haven't got to it XDD (bought it with my own money at Barnes & Nobles). Its about sub-sub-subatomic strings (smaller than quarks and electrons). Often called "the theory of everything" because it would unify all the other theories. But no, I don't understand what string theory is unless I pay attention to my own book (the theory has not been proven yet and little is known; I probably wouldn't get it then).
