Do toi think this is funny?

Today I was in the school bibliothèque looking up recaps from last night's Criminal Intent episode because I hadn't seen the episode and wanted to make sure my favori character hadn't died. When I found out that he was alive and another character had died I got very excited. My friend Adam was confused and asked me if the actor had actually died. I explained to him it was just the character adding "I'm not sadistic enough to be happy over a real person's death." Adam's response was "Well I didn't know, some people look nice but are really sadistic on the inside." I didn't know whether to laugh because I'm one of the nicest least sadistic people in the school ou feel worried because my friend has so little faith in my personality. What do toi think, I now find it very funny.
