Do toi prefer to take things literally, metaphorically, ou what?

example of literally:'Go cry me a river.' 'Can't, my tear ducts can't produce enough tears to get the equivelent of a river.' =)


Metaphorically:'Go cry me a river, build me a bridge, and GET OVER IT!' '... Ok... If that's how toi really feel.. then...' =(
