New photos from the ABC Family drama’s Jan. 13 episode find the formerly rock-solid Spoby on shaky ground, as Toby chooses to walk away from a crying Spencer on the streets of Rosewood.

So, why the lovers’ quarrel? The answer lies in the episode’s official description, per ABC Family: “When a surprising bit of evidence shows up, Toby is put in a difficult position with his job and with Spencer. … Spencer tries to convince Toby to stray from his moral gut reaction, which puts stress on their relationship.”

I like mystery shows because they are fun to solve, so after reading about this one for a while I binge watched the whole thing, and now I have one question and one theory.

Question, since Ravenswood established that ghosts are real, does that mean that Mona’s ghost was an actual ghostly apparition?

Theory, Bethany and Allison are twin sisters. Bethany hit Allison with the shovel and Melissa buried Allison.

This depends on her face not having been shown, which I don’t think it has.

That said, surely the people who’ve seen them both would know they were twins, right? So, is it plausible?

No, but I did read something about what you’re hinting at in the PLL wiki.

Bethany and Alison can’t be twins because their ages don’t match up. The report about Bethany’s death said she died when she was 17, and I think Alison just turned 17 this year.

Ummm… PLL returns Jan 6th according to the show’s Facebook page and TVLine’s January 2015 Premiere and Return dates calendar. Glad to see Drew Van Acker back on PLL! Hopefully Jason doesn’t turn out to be a bad guy :)

Sorry but just pointing out that sentence didn’t make sense since that elevator shaft scene isn’t the last we’ve seen of Jason. He appears in few episodes of Season 5 when Ali comes home.

But at this point who keeps tracking? So many characters that they just keep appearing randomly (Cece, Jenna) or dead (Mona).
