Correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't Percy and Annabeth be related? because Athena is a dit to be the daughter of Zeus, which would make Poseiden the uncle of Athena, and that would mean that Athena and Percy are cousins.

That doesn't matter. Gods don't have DNA, so demigods with different immortal parents can date. So that's not so weird. Besides, there are plenty of weird things in the gods' family tree: Zeus married his sister, Aphrodite's husband and boyfriend are both her half brothers, etc. That's pretty confusing.

It explains in The Last Olympian that it was ok for children of different olympian parents could be together because gods and goddess' dont have genes so its like theyre not really related, but like brothers and sisters of one of the Olympians wouldnt rendez-vous amoureux, date because it would be wierd

In the book it réponses the question when Selina and Beckendorf start dating. They're from two different godly parents and that makes it alright. If they were from the same godly parent, that would be considered incest. But since Percy is a son of Poseidon and Annabeth is a daughter of Athena, they are not cousins and can marry and have kids. The godly side doesn't count for them, as gods don't have DNA. Hope this helps.

yeah. of course iv been trying to tell my family that for ages but nooooo iv never met someone who agreed that Anabeth and Percy are related. iv read the olympians book on Posiedon and it dind't say anything about that but it did say that Athena is Posiedons niece so i have worked everything out and i think yeah percy and Anabeth are related. Between Zeus marrying one sister and having a daughter with another. Hestia being fought over par her brother and nephew (Poseidon and Apollo). Hades marrying his niece par both her parents. And Aphrodite and Hephaestus/Ares is probably one of the not creepy relationships because she was created from the severed family jewels of Uranus. Yes, that would be right but idk if it works like that besides many titans married each other and some olimpians. I would also like to point out that zeus's child is Athena and annabeth is his granddaughter. myths say that he loved Athen lots (not in a sexual way, just father daughter) so toi would think that he would be on the side of annabeth and help her situations? lol


I also just noticed some thing - i might be wrong. but zeus's kid is Athena according to the myths and then annabeth is her daughter so zeus's grand daughter is Annabeth.
Zeus and Pisidon are brothers and then POsidon had a kid which is Percy or( persephone) which mean they are dating but there from 2 different generations??? percy is a great uncle to her?
