I won't be posting the "Our Story" on this club anymore. They will be in "The Penguin's Past (POM)" :-)
RICO
The men crowded towards Rico. They were getting awfully close. Rico wanted, and needed to jump off the boat, but the sides were too high.
"So much for saving my father," Rico mumbled. "Now I've endangered myself."
He backed up the wall, trying to get away. The men were really close, now. There was no getting away.
Just then, Rico saw a small, black ball come up over the side of the boat. It landed near his feet. The men took one look at the ball, and turned and ran the other way. Some even jumped into the water.
Then, a pretty female manchot, pingouin hopped on board the boat. She pulled Rico to the side of the boat.
"Don't toi know what that thing is!" She exclaimed.
"Um, no," Rico said. "Is it bad?"
"Yes!" the other manchot, pingouin said. "It's a bomb, bombs explode! Don't toi know anything?"
"I'm not even five years old yet!" Rico said.
"Well, we still have to get off this bateau before it's-"
She was cut off when the bomb exploded. She and Rico and everyone else on board fell overboard.
For Rico, everything went black.

SKIPPER
That night Skipper couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned in his bed. Finally, he sat up.
Skipper fluffed his oreiller and laid back down. He still couldn't sleep. He got up again and sat at the table. Thoughts of his brother flooded his mind.
Right then and there Skipper decided that he was going to find his brother, even if it killed him.

KOWALSKI
"Good news, boy!" the vet said. "We found toi a zoo!"
"Yay!" the manchot, pingouin said.
The vet left the room.
"So, she found toi a zoo," Chloe said. "Do toi even know what that means?"
"No," the manchot, pingouin said. "But it sounded like good news."
"You are correct," Chloe said.
"Are they going to give me a name yet?"
"Probably,"
"What's 17x2 ?"
"Well, 7x2 is 14, 1x2 is 2, so, 34."
"Wow! toi really do know everything!"
"Not really, that was a simple question."
"Can toi teach me the times tables and multiplication?"
"It is weird to hear words like that coming from someone so young."
The vet came back in. She was carrying a cage.
"Okay," she said. "Packing time!"
She gently pushed the manchot, pingouin in.
"Chloe," he said, "are toi coming with me?"
"I will," Chloe said. "I'll meet toi there."

RICO
Rico blinked. He was laying on the shore. Something felt funny, and different.
He sat up and there was the girl manchot, pingouin again.
"You're alive!" she exclaimed. She hugged him.
Rico pushed her off.
"Where am I?" he asked.
"I saved your life!" the manchot, pingouin squealed.
"Um, thanks," Rico said.
He felt on haut, retour au début of his head. Spiderwebs.
"Sorry," she said. "You were bleeding really bad, and wet leaves wouldn't stop it."
"Who are you?"
"I'm Urka!"
"I'm Rico."
"Do toi need some help?"
"With what?"
Rico stood up, then fell back down.
"That," Urka said.
"What?"
"I think toi broke your leg."
"Oh,"
"Well, let's go to my cave. I can finish mending toi up there."
"What happened to the boat?"
"It exploded."
"Where was it going?"
"Denmark, I believe. Why?"
"No reason."
Rico held onto Urka as he got up. They walked together to her cave. Once they were there, Rico collapsed.
"No need to," Urka said.
"Do what?"
"I can mend it from there."
"Okay,"

SKIPPER
The suivant day, Skipper knew he would need to pack. He took his lit blanket and put it on the table. He took extra poisson and put them on the blanket. He put his oreiller and a picture of his father on it, too.
Skipper tied it up then hid it in the habitat.
That night after his father was asleep, Skipper snuck out. He took his blanket sack and ran out of the zoo.
Skipper went a few miles before he tired. When he did, he found a place, took out his pillow, and quickly fell asleep.
(I am starting something were the story goes to the other characters. It starts and ends every time I miss a space)
Oliver (Skipper's father) jumped out of his bed. Something didn't feel right. He saw that Skipper wasn't there.
"That little troublemaker," he said.
Oliver searched the habitat for Skipper. When he wasn't there, he searched the zoo, twice. When Skipper was still not found, Oliver started getting worried. He went back to his habitat and onto the macareux, macareux moine side.
Oliver went over to where Canary (Hans' mother) was sleeping. He shook her untill she woke up.
"Hans," she moaned," it's the middle of the-" Then her eyes adjusted. "Oliver?!"
"Canary," Oliver started.
"Why the heck did toi do that?" Canary asked. She got up and out of her bed.
"Skipper's missing."
"Doesn't he do that, like, once a month?"
"He already did it!"
"Maybe, he wanted change?"
"I even checked the zoo security cameras!"
"This zoo has security cameras?"
"Can toi help me search?"
"He'll probrobly be back par morning."
"I'm worried about him! I don't want to loose another son!"
"Here we go again..."
Canary went back into her bed.
"You're probably right," Oliver said. "He'll probrobly be back par morning. No need to make a fuss."
Oliver went back to bed. Little did he know that his son was in for a bigger adventure than he had ever had before.

KOWALSKI
The manchot, pingouin yawned.
"Good trip," he said. "I wonder when I'll get my name."
He looked up and saw a large bird again.
"Hi, Chloe," he said.
"I made it, didn't I," Chloe said.
The manchot, pingouin laughed.
"Where are we?" he asked.
"I believe, New York."
"Zoo ou aquarium?"
"Zoo."
"What is the solid of water?"
"Ice."
"Wow! toi are smart!"
"Not really, any kindergartener would know that."
"What's kindergarten?"
While Chloe and the manchot, pingouin were talking, a zookeeper came in and snuck up behind them.
"Well, hello newest members of the zoo!" she exclaimed.
Chloe and the manchot, pingouin jumped.
"Sorry to scare you," the keeper said, "and welcome to the zoo! What are your names?"
"She knows she can't understand us, right?" the manchot, pingouin said.
"No, I can understand you," the keeper said. "It's my gift."
"What did toi just say?" Chloe asked.
"You have ear holes, right?" the manchot, pingouin joked.
"Yes, it just isn't normal that people can understand animals."
"Do toi want me to leave toi two alone for a second, or.." the keeper said.
"No, we're fine," the manchot, pingouin said.
"Well, I'm Penelope, but toi can call me keeper P," the keeper said.
"Well, " Chloe said, "I'm Chloe, and the penguin, he doesn't have a name."
"Can toi name me?" the manchot, pingouin asked.
"Sure, little guy," Keeper P said. "How about, Kowalski."
"Kowalski?" Chloe said. "What kind of name is that?"
"It's my last name," Keeper P said.
"I like it," Kowalski said. "It sounds smart."
"Why don't I montrer toi to your new habitats," Keeper P said.
"Will he get a foster mother?" Chloe asked.
"Yes," Keeper P said. "That's what the plan is."
"Yay!" Kowalski exclaimed.

Skipper fell on Rico. "Ew," Rico said.
Private said, "I'm confused. Can somebody tell me what's going on?"
Abigail said, "Skipper's my brother and Kowalski's my boyfriend."
"Why does Rico keep saying ew?" Private asked.
Rico a dit "ew" again.
"I have no idea," Abigail said.
Julien ran over and asked Abigail to marry him. Abigail pushed him into the pool.
Mort ran over and grabbed Julien's feet, and then they both fell in the pool. Then Skipper had to pull them out.
"Is that a yes?" Julien asked Abigail.
"No," Abigail said.
Julien started crying and walked stupidly away.
Kowalski went over and asked Abigail to marry him.
Abigail nodded.
"Ew," Rico said.
