I love Lord Henry's cynicism, and he is really witty. Sibyl is too naive, and Basil... I liked him at the beginning, but he was getting worse. I like Dorian too, but Lord Henry is awesome.

Lord Henry is awesome. The rest of the characters have their flare as well, but I always enjoy characters who say what everyone thinks and no one else dares to say.

I love all of the characters, especially Basil but its Dorian that tickles my fancy. When i first read it, i hadnt heard anything about the story at all so the ending was both shocking and painful. i threw the book down and called everyone i know (none of them into the same literature as i am) and retold the story in a high-pitched girly squeal. No one cared, but i was heartbroken.

Well, Lord Henry always be my favorite. He also my favorite Oscar Wilde character, I think.

How could anyone like Dorian? He's a horrible character! He's weak, self-obsessed and shallow.

I liked poor Basil - I really felt for him! He was by far the nicest and purest character, and he was killed in such an awful way!

I'm pained to admit it, but I also sort of like Lord Henry, because his wit and cynicism made him quite an interesting character. I didn't like the way he warped Dorian for his own amusement, though. That was not cool.

I suppose this really reveals my own character and personal values, lol. It shows that I value goodness and intelligence over good-looks and superficiality. I suppose that's a good thing...

Absolutely hated Dorian. I wish James killed him. I was sickened at how disgusting his mind was. Lord Henry was OK; he enjoyed toying with others' minds. I, like Basil, don't really think he meant all that he said. I love how Dorian failed to realize the picture REALLY WAS HIM, and when he tried to kill it off, well... anyways, I don't really think anyone who loves Dorian really understood the book. Or, probably, they just understood it in a radically different way than I did. I took it as Dorian was an innocent boy who was turned horrible by Lord Henry's witticisms (which he took seriously). I really wish James killed him. It's a real shame what happened to him... I felt like crying.
