Really ? A rag doll ? I never thought of her like that, I'm not saying toi are all wrong, I just thnk she is supposed to be like a female Frankenstein : toi know, she is sewn together from other pieces. ou maybe her own pieces if she was dismembered at some point !

She is a rag doll because once when she fell she stuffed her slef back up with a cotton/stuffing material. Also her hair really looks like yarn to me.

Well, I don't know what the official answer is, but I always saw Sally as a rag doll. All of the scar-looking lines she has on her body and her face look like stitches, and a couple of times throughout the movie she is shown either sewing one of her own limbs back on, or, near the beginning, Dr. Finkelstein is shown sewing them back on for her.

Plus, the Wikipedia page describes Sally as a "Frankenstein-esque ragdoll." The word zombie isn't even there. (Though I know that Wikipedia isn't exactly the primary authority on this, it was the only info I could find.)

she is a frankinstein, not a rag doll! she only has stitches on her face bacause that damn docter dosn't know a needle from his cul, ass XP

They refer to her as Sally the Ragdoll on the bonus material of the special edition DVD. Frankinstein isn't even a plural term to describe a monster. Frankinstein himself was the doctor who created the monster. The monster is simply referred to as the Frankinstein monster. People seem to misinterpret that

She's a ragdoll. They actually refer to her as such in the bonus material of the Nightmare Before Christmas Special Edition.

Although I couldn't locate any of the video material online because I'm currently only using an iPod touch with wifi, here are liens to various sites that refer to her as Sally the Ragdoll:

WELLLLL obviously if toi are a HUUUUGE fan of this movie n watch it a lot as do my bf n i toi would know that sally is in fact a rag doll. Those are not scars on her face they are stitches from when she was created par Dr.Finkelstein he later in the movie makes a new creation because of the fact his last creation "Sally the Rag Doll" did not live up to his expectations she sows herself back together when pieces are removed and if she were a zombie which she is not she would have flesh rotting on her body which she does not.
buut the guy that a dit she is clay fashioned to look as a rag doll was also correct seeing as how this was a clay mation film.
thank toi n toi juust learned something new.
