Everywhere you go these days, you see articles and/or interviews with Nelly about her new album, talking about how awesome it is, but for me, I haven't picked it up because...it isn't. Her first two albums were great - I can listen to them repeatedly even today - but this new album discards all her singing in favor of a "Sheryl Crow in the club" vibe. Where's the singing? Nelly shines as an unique vocalist. It's depressing to me how her producers have pitched her as yet another dance diva, indistinguishable from a hundred others.
