Pythons, Dragons & Other Medieval Misconceptions

Was Medieval England full of knights on horseback rescuing damsels in distress and were the Middle Ages mired in superstition and ignorance? With his distinctive and original perspective on history, Terry Jones will illustrate his lecture using the vivid stories and characters depicted in ancient wallpaintings found in historic churches. This event is organised by The Churches Conservation Trust, the national charity protecting historic churches at risk.
