A few days later they found out houx was three weeks pregnant. Michael has been taking wonderful care of houx making sure she isn't overdoing it, and making sure she is resting. Suddenly three months goes by. houx is now starting to montrer and everytime Michael looks at her he can't help but put his hand on her stomach and smile. Everything with houx and her mom has been going good too, they actually go out and have lunch sometimes. So for the past couple of weeks houx and Michael have been starting to start the nursery that was a spare room in their bedroom quarters. They don't want to know what type of baby it is so the room is going to be yellow and green. houx has been blissfully happy with the way everything in her life has been going she doesn't even know if she can get any happier.

One afternoon houx wakes up from her daily heure nap. She finds Michael in his private studio. He smiles at her "Hey honey how was toi nap?" "Good I just can't believe how tired a baby makes you!" He chuckles "I'm sure." He puts his hand on her stomach and starts to feel. houx giggles "How many times are toi going to do that?" "Till I can hold the baby!" They both laugh together. "Here 'Holl' read this song I wrote." As she starts to read Michael notices houx twinging. "Holly are toi alright?" He asks really concerned. "Oh i'm fine its just I have a twing in my back that's all." She twinges again. "That song is amazing!" "Really?" "Absoutly! Listen i'm gonna get a shower." "Okay but are toi sure your feeling alright?" "Yes i'm fine." She goes downstairs. Suddenly Michael hears something break and a large thump. Michael runs down stairs "Holly!" He opens the bathroom door to see houx lying on the bathroom floor on her belly unconscious with broken glass laying around her. He gets on the floor and turns her around "Holly, houx can toi hear me!" He suddenly realises something "Oh God the baby!" He scoops her up in his arms and yells "Mother call an ambulance!"

An heure and a half later Michael and the family is sitting in the waiting room at the hospital. Michael keeps pacing back and fourth. Latoya says "Michael please sit down pacing isn't going to help." "I know its just I keep thinking of houx lying on that floor unconscious, I just don't know what happened?" "Well was she feeling okay?" "She a dit she was but she kept twinging in her back. Oh God what if we lose the baby, ou worse if I lose Holly!" Katherine chimes in "Now Michael don't talk like that now! I'm sure houx and the baby will be fine toi just have to think positive!" "Mother I can't, how can I..." Before Michael has another chance to say anything else Katherine cuts him off. "Now Michael toi listen to me toi need to be strong and have faith!" "I know mother." They hug each other. Michael out of the corner of his eye sees Dr. Stevens the chief doctor on staff approaching them.

"Hello Michael." He says. "Dr. Stevens how are they?" "Can we talk in private over here for a moment." He pulls Michael aside. "How are they?" Michael asks again. Dr. Stevens let out a sigh "Well i'm not gonna lie right now its touch and go." "But what's wrong?" "What i'm thinking is the baby has the umbilical cord wraped around. So what me and my team is going to do is emergency surgery to see if we can fix the problem." "Can toi fix it?" "It will depend on where the umbilical cord is wraped around." "I see, but what about Holly?" "She's still unconscious. Which is my question to ask you." "What?" Dr. Stevens takes a deep breath "If anytime during the surgery this comes up I have to know." "Well what?" "If toi had a choice to either save houx ou the baby which would toi choose?" Michael gulps "Oh God I can't believe this is happening! But Dr. Stevens if it does come down to that, save Holly." Dr. Stevens nods his head and starts to walk back to the door from where he came. Michael suddenly says "Doc please, save Holly!" "I'll do the best I can." Michael stands there is terror of weather ou not he will lose his two precious gifts.
