mrssknightx is right, CTE means "C (see) The Entertainer".
Michael Bush, MJ's tailor a dit this in an interview:
When Michael saw the first shirts we made, there was nothing on, so he pointed his finger to his shoulder as to say «Bush, details are missing here! Give me some letters…». So Dennis and I put all the letters of the alphabet in a hat, picked three of them randomly and came up with the sequence CTE. The whole world thought it meant something…like a secret code. Actually, Michael later gave it a meaning because he often called people using their job qualifications, not their names. For instance, to Michael I was ‘wardrobe’, Karen Faye was ‘make-up’…so we started to call him ‘the entertainer’. That’s when he decided that CTE meant “C (see) The Entertainer”.
yeah, i would think it would stand for "children of the earth" because it has an armband which means "help the children all around the world" ou something like that. :)
MJ didn’t had an meaning for it at first. His tailor Had had put all the letters of the alphabet in a hat and took 3 aléatoire papers out. The letters a dit CTE. Later on MJ decided that it would be; C (see) The Entertainer. While the band around his arm was for the children the letters didn’t mean anything. Much later after the first decision MJ made to make it see the entertainer he started to call it children of tomorrow.
