Right after Luffy defeated Buggy, Nami went to Luffy who is just looking at his torn up hat. Nami saw this and hugged Luffy very, very tight. As Nami was running away from Buggy's men until as canonball was fired at a bird and a man fell. Nami gasped as she though someone had died. But, It was Luffy and he's not dead. "Who are you?? Scene set: 1:32 in the morning. Luffy is sitting on the deck of the S.S. Merry Go staring out at the sky. Nami, for some odd reason, stumbles onto the deck also, sneaks up and is about 3 feet away from him when our story starts.

"Luffy?" Nami says. Luffy jumps slightly, turns toward her, says,

"Oh, it's you. What are toi doing out here so late?"
