Legend of the Seeker – l’Épée de Vérité Question

AS a massive fan of the Sword of Truth books, i don't know whetether to leave this montrer ou try it, as us lucky Brits get the season 1 premier in 2 days time?

I knew the montrer was coming but didn't know Sam Raimi was at the directors wheel.
Have to say if this is done with the same tongue in cheeck chinciness of the Hercules legends,it could destroy any chances of the feature films ever getting off the ground.
Even though season 2 being completed, doesnt make it a success as far as the integrity of the livres goes, only with fans who maybe have not read the series.

Anyone who is serious about their lire and subsequent watching of fantaisie being brought to the screen, please let me know if toi think this series is worth even attempting.
Il give anything a try, but when i saw the titre i knew what it refered to, even not knowing it had been made yet. lol
That with legend of Hercules,Zena etc in mind.My cœur, coeur sank!

Someone restore my faith,please?

I am eternally grateful to this series because without it I would have never known about the books, which were awesome. I have to say, the livres are a LOT better and this montrer can be disappointing. Of course, there have been changes, which I feel they might regret if they continue the series long enough for the repercussions. But, the three main characters (Richard, Kahlan, Zedd) are pretty well done, and even if some of the situations are different, it still is nice to see them portray the characters toi fell in l’amour with. But yea, I would say watch it but there is no guarantee that toi will like it. It depends how rigid toi are with staying really true to the books.

I tried with the 2 heure pilot? Unfortunately i just could not stick with it. The story was mangled beyond belief and the characters/actors were terrible. I think with a series which runs for 20+ episodes the time should have been taken to tell the story, and the characters should have been made truer, ie look and feel etc. I wanted to enjoy this but too much was just missed out. The character of Zedd was the only one who came anywhere near close, but even then it was pretty awful. Maybe the intended first trilogy feature films will stay to the path? Will have to wait and see i guess? For an introduction to let people like yourself get onto the books, i can't fault that however. They are as toi know an awesome read, and plus power to the montrer for expanding Terry's fan base and readership. Fledgling shows? toi really just never know, but long may it continue if it brings plus people to the most amazing bunch of characters i have ever come accross. Thanks for your response and i hope toi continue to enjoy. Cheers

They had a rough start the firts part of Season1 but then they got intop a good groove. No it is not the same as the livres because the livres are in novle format, not stand-alone TV one-hour episode format...but that a dit they try to play the long running arcs. The long running torture for weeks of Richard gets put into just a couple of days in "Denna"--but it still works. They do still write to teh book themes--and this an they are going to get to be darker and sexier, Disney ou no.

I think this should make up your mind about where the series is going! The first season was up and down, but did hit its stride and got better towards the end. And now, this is the beginning of season 2, with Charisma Carpenter of Buffy/Angel fame and also with Jolene Blalock of Enterprise coming on board for a few eps midseason.

I think they did a good job with season 1. I've read the livres too (except the last 3). They stand true to a lot of things in the book with Zed being cookey and Kahlan being strong and Richard sort of clueless (at 1st) Darken Raul (may have misspelled that) is supposed to have blond hair but has dark dark brown and be handsome (not). But he plays his part well. global, ensemble I'd say view it.
