Is it okay to Kiss someone on the first rendez-vous amoureux, date if it would be their first kiss?

I just went on a movie rendez-vous amoureux, date with a guy I really like, when he was dropping me off, I had the perfect time to Kiss him and I didn't. But if I did Kiss him it would have been both of our first kiss. Should I have kissed him? Oh par the way, we're 11.
