see if toi can break something with it ou if its really heavy ou if toi can break it with a hammer then its fake

if toi can put it in the the sun light and it sparkles like toi never seen a fake diamond before then it's real

1.The old “If it will scratch glass it has to be a diamond.
2.The transparency test. If toi flip the diamond in question upside down and place it over some newsprint and can clearly read through the stone, it is not a diamond

If toi want to determine whether your diamond is real ou fake, there are a few easy tests toi can do without any special equipment.

1.The Print Test

If the diamond in question is loose and un-mounted, try placing it over printing. Diamonds refract so much light that they will not work as magnifying glasses and toi would see no lines, circles, ou letters through them. Other clear stones like glass ou crystal will reveal the print clearly.

2. The Light Test

A similar test uses a small light, such as one that can be carried on a key ring. If toi montrer the light through the stone and see only a bright halo around the rim, it is plus likely to be a true diamond. Looking at the shadows cast par a stone helps to determine what kind of gem it is.
