par the time Cuddy hung up the phone, she was crying hard. House looked at her. "Cuddy, whats wrong?" He asked her. "My dad.." She tryed to hold back a sob. "He.. he's dying." House put Rachel down in a lit de bébé that was across the room. She keep a lit de bébé in her room, the living room, and in Rachel's bedroom.
House walked over to Cuddy and wrapped his arms around her. Neither one of them talked. "I know he was good to you. I know toi l’amour him, but there is a time, when everyone has to let go." Cuddy backed away from him. "House, how could toi say that. I'm.Not.Ready." He looked at her. "I'm sorry." "No, your just the same guy toi always have been, just covered up." "Lisa, I'm not." She looked at him. Cuddy knew when he called her Lisa, that he was always telling the truth. She needed to believe him. "Prove it." "Hu?" Cuddy walked back over to him. "Prove to me that you're not the same guy." House looked at her and sighed. "I'll do anything for you."
House had told Cuddy that she could go to sleep, he would stay up and watch Rachel. He had planned their trip to Trenton at 5:00am that morning. He figured that Cuddy needed all the rest she could get with what all was going on.
After he fed Rachel, he put her into her lit de bébé in Cuddy's room. It was 12:00am. She woke up. "House?" She asked softly. "Yea." "Where are toi going?" "To the couch." Cuddy shook her head. "Stay here with me." House nodded and went to lay beside of her. "Are toi cold?" He asked. "A little." Cuddy snuggled up to him, House didn't know what to do at first, he was scared, but then he wrapped his arms around her. Not to long after, they were both asleep. Cuddy had set her alarm clock to 4:30am, so she could get up and get ready, just as any woman would.
That morning, Cuddy got up and got ready, but she had to roll House out of the bed. Literally. She couldn't get him up any other way at all. Cuddy tried everything. Wilson had agreed to watch her house, but she decided that she would take Rachel with them.
It was 4:55am, it was time for them to leave. Wilson had showed up. "Ok, here's the keys, toi can eat what ever toi want, watch TV as much as toi can, toi can even sleep in my bed. Just don't make a mess." They all laughed. "Thanks Wilson." He smiled and nodded. "Your welcome." Cuddy kissed him on the cheek. "Make sure toi don't have any hookers over, Wilson." House had to get a remark out before they left. "I can't make that promise." House chuckled as they headed out to the car. Cuddy buckled Rachel into her car seat. House a dit he would drive and let Cuddy get some rest.
Just as they were waiting in a red light in Trenton, a car ran into the side of the car. On the drivers side, on House's side. It knocked him unconious. Cuddy jolted awake to look over at House. She cried fearing the life of all of them.
