I originally posté this on IMDB's board for "Pet Sematary".

* * * * *

The kind that includes utterly disturbing and dark themes and images such as Stephen King's "Pet Sematary" ou Wes Craven's "Nightmare on Elm Street". And par children I now mean people between ages 3-12. (I suppose 2-year olds would be too young to have any attention span to watch a movie.)

Yes, I know that young children do not necessarely get serious psychological issues from watching whatever horror, some may not even get nightmares. And I know children l’amour horror. But there are so many possibilities in the genre that it...

47 Meters Down is a 2017 British survival horror film directed par Johannes Roberts, and starring Mandy Moore and Claire Holt. It was released on June 16, 2017.

I just got back from seeing this and WOW! All I have to say is wow. Let's just dive (pun intended) right in to my review. This will contain no spoilers.

The film starts out with sisters Lisa (Mandy Moore) and Kate (Claire Holt) on vacation in Mexico. Within 5 minutes, we know that Lisa's deadbeat of a boyfriend Stuart dumped her because she wasn't fun enough for him and he was bored with their relationship. Lisa is still pining for him...

There's good news and there's bad news for horror fans today, folks. The bad news is that Rob Zombie has signed to write and direct H2, the sequel to his godawful remake of Halloween.

The good news is... erm. Erm. We'll get back to toi on that one.

Zombie has long a dit that he would never make a sequel to his 2007 film, which spent plus time on the origin of stalker and slasher extraordinaire Michael Myers than it did on the actual stalking and slashing, despite the fact that it grossed a nice, sequel-friendly $78 million worldwide.

It is a 2017 American Supernatural horror film based on Stephen King's 1986 novel of the same name and directed par Andy Muschietti starring Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy rayon, ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. It opened September 8, 2017.

This review will contain NO spoilers.

It's important to note that while this could be seen as a remake of the 1990 Miniseries, it's actually a re-adaptation of Stephen King's original book IT. So while I may reference the miniseries now an again, during this article...

Please keep in mind that this is merely my opinion, and this will be almost strictly horror. toi could say "What's Halloween without Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown?" and that's fine but also cliched and not horror. This is not a liste of my favori horror films par any means either, just a liste of great ones I think are fun to watch at Halloween time and give me that sense of Horrorween (my new favori word btw). I have also included some horror télévision in here as well just for the short attention span people (aka me).

Almost every single scary movie is the exact same, pretty girl, hot guy, nerd, out siders, they team up ou hate each other. Pretty girl usually dies its boring! Psychological. Hello, my name is Heather and I'm a horrorholic. Specifically a slasher stan. I've been watching horror films since I was a single digit an old and slashers are my favori sub-genre of not only horror but any films period. There's something very formulaic and familiar about them and they bring me inner peace. So with that said, I will be reviewing this movie from a slasher standpoint - if that makes sense to anyone at all.

For those who don't know Hell Fest is a 2018 American slasher film directed par Gregory Plotkin. The film stars Amy Forsyth, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Reign Edwards and Tony Todd,...
