J.K. Rowling was a squib. She documented Harry’s life, and since she revealed the wizard world to the muggle world, the Statute of Secrecy became even more enforced. A law was passed that didn’t allow muggle-born wizards to attend Hogwarts, so that their parents wouldn’t learn about the magical world. That’s why we all don’t have our letters from Hogwarts.

Yeah GCSE and I'm still not sure what to put down, because I wanna take Spanish , and I wanna take music, and I wanna take Textiles and I wanna take History or Geography, but that's too many; I'm only allowed three. And I have to take Welsh :|
But it has to be in order of preference but I'm still not sure.

Well Geography is REALLY boring and difficult. I don't know about the others :) x

lol most people are taking Geography for the Barcelona trip, but Spanish does an exchange to Barcelona too... hmm ...

@vamp: I took both History and Geography, and I love them both. I would recommend those subjects, personally. What field do you want to enter as an adult, because you're options could be based on that?

Well I took Triple Science, French and Drama, so I can't really help you. I originally took history but switched for French.

I did German, but I had to do triple science because I'm in set 1 for it...

^We had an option, but they suggested me to do it cause I was top. ANd then NEXT year I'm taking physics for ALevel and further Maths. How fun will THAT be :L x

I hate Physics :/
I don't have to choose my subjects until the year after next, IB1 -- alway assuming I get in to the IB, that is :D if so, next year's pre-IB with preset courses, and then...
oh joy, then I get to pick six subjects for the next two years :S you pick one of each group:

Self-Taught Language A Literature

Group 2: Language B

A second subject from groups 1-4

and then you choose standard level or higher level for all of them :S

I was thinking Finnish Literature HL, English Language and Literature HL, French B SL, History SL, Chemistry SL and Mathematics SL, but I'm not sure...
and then there's something about maybe doing a seventh subject separately, so I was thinking about Swedish B HL...

I officially respect and love Sirius. I mean, I worship the ground he walks on :) Why you may ask?
I was watching OotP & CoS last night, and throughout both movies I really wanted to punch Lucius Malfoy in the face (he's a real piece of work :S). I swear, I was ready to jump into the T.V. to take him down! Anyways my dreams came true at the end of OotP, when Sirius finally punched Lucius in the face :D I've been worshipping him since :)

Physics is my second favourite science. I got 93% in the GCSE last year.

In college, I'm taking Classical civilisations, Geography, Philosophy and History.

Hey guys I'm at my auntie's for Sunday dinner and I had to take my laptop for homework :L
I get to choose two Sciences so I'm taking Physics and Chemistry xD
And I've decided I'm taking History (research etc for journalism and writing) Spanish (always good to have a language) and Textiles (because I don't want to get stressed out with three quite difficult ones, and I enjoy textiles and it's a good skill to have XD) and my sub is Music.
