At the age of twelve, Greg Garman decided to make drumming a life long endeavor. His mother started playing drums while she was about 5 months pregnant with him. Along his musical journey, Greg won a local drum competition in his hometown, San Luis Obispo, Ca, and decided to enroll himself into the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA.
