i found an old poster that is yellow with red lettering. any help in identifying the age of this would be appreciated

Back in the 70s (and probably before that), movie distributors used to only give cinemas/theatres a limited amount of (original) movie poster prints. That was ample if the theatre was small, but when it came to bigger movie houses, the owners of such places would print their own using promotional movie shots to hang either outside ou in the lobby. I’m pretty sure that’s what toi posté here. It’s certainly not an official poster as there’s no mention of Paramount Studios on it. Other than a fan’s own poster, I’d say this was one such poster I described - probably from 1978.

Well it looks most likely to be an original cinema posters.
