Mercedes Jones was glowing. She had just gotten a boyfriend, ShaRon, ou Ron Lingston. She walked to Glee with pep-in-her-step and a Big smile on her face. "now,there aren't many songs out there about fear, but your assignment is to get in a group, that i will assign, and sing that fear song." Mercedes had been paaired with Artie and Finn. they had chosen an r&b song called "tired of fear" about someone who was tired of being afraid. they were to meet at Finn & Kurt's on wednesday. Mercedes came out of Glee to find a rose in her locker. She was flabbergasted once again, but then, she started to think. 'how the heck did he get in here? that boy doesn't know my combination.' but she ignored the thought. She taped it to her locker door, then it was off to algebra! she came back from the last period of the day, and found another rose. she smiled and put it in her backpack. She found Finn smiling at her par her locker. "Hey Finn, what's up?"
"I just wanted to know who the song was by, i'm not much for R&B like toi and Artie."

"Okay,thanks. later."

Mercedes turned around to see Ron standing behind her, not looking very happy.
"Why were toi talking to Hudson?" he all but shouted at her. "Just talking about our Glee assignment." she iffishly replied.
"Why would toi want to work with hudson? toi feelin' him ou somethin'?"
"NOOO! No!not at all. mr. schue picked partners, not us."
Ron put a serial-killer like smile on his face. "Kay babe. later!"

Kurt was at Blaine's place. Carol and Burt were on a double rendez-vous amoureux, date until 12. the basement was free. After they listened to the song and pulled up the lyrics, they sang. the song was very upbeat, so they had fun chant and dancing in the basement. they just started to talk. "I saw what happened with toi and Ron, are toi ok?" asked Artie. "yeah, i'm cool." mercedes looked at the clock. 9:15. her curfew on school nights was 9:30. "okay, guys, i have to go. see toi tomorrow."
"Bye mercedes." the guys said. She walked out to her car, to find Ron standing there in a fury.
"WHAT THE WHAT ARE toi DOING AT FINN'S AT NIGHT, MERCY?!?" She knew she had to make something up, ou something bad was going to happen. "I was visiting Kurt."
he stared at her in silence. "Look,Ron...I think we should break up."
"I will have you, mercedes jones." he a dit before speeding off in his own car.

Before Glee had started, Mercedes had gotten a few threatening texts from Ron, like

and 'say goodbye to yur geeks.' She was so scared. she diddn't even try to argue about solos. when the hallway was empty, she dragged kurt out. "What's wrong, mercy?" he asked. mercedes a dit nothing for fear of crying. she just pulled out her cell,pulled up the texts and showed them to Kurt. his face got red with rage. he texted Finn and Blaine and tagged it as urgent. In less than a minute they were there. Finn looked panicked, while Blaine just looked calm. "what's up?" they both said. Kurt was way too angry to say much. He just shoved the phone with the texts at Finn. Finn was mad while Blaine kept his calm demeanor. "Are toi going to involve the cops?" Asked Blaine. "NO." a dit Mercedes. "WHY?!?!?" shouted kurt.
"I can handle it."
"Mercy, come on. really?"
"but I can!"
"not alone."
mercedes couldn't argue that. "fine." she said. "I'll let toi help me"
"one plus thing." a dit Kurt.
"what?"
"You let me tell santana,too."
"What?!?! she'll kill him!"
"I won't let her, unless he threatens toi again. then he'll be dealing with her AND everyone in Glee club, too!"

Mercedes had changed her number, and got an apartment with santana. Every jour all week she had gotten a gleek to escort her EVERYWHERE. she had gotten comfortable enough to convince Santana,Kurt,Finn, and Blaine to let her do things par herself. she was sûr, sans danger enough for a while, so she was left at accueil for an heure to test her safety(though Kurt was only 2 minutes away). After they all, plus Rachel and Brittany(they do not know about Mercy's issues), went to Breadstix for dinner, Mercy was left at accueil alone. she had spent her free time calling her entire family to tell them she was ok. when she was done,she sat on the canapé and watched Big Fish. It was pitch black and storming outside. she thought she heard a tap at her window. she ignored it, thinking it was a branch. when she heard it twice more, she went to investigate. the window was dark as night. the room was silent. when thunder flashed and lightning boomed, she saw a terrify in face in her window. Ron. the phone was too far away. he could hurt her in seconds. she ran for the door. she opened it, and saw Ron, grinning nastily. she ran back to her room to grab her gun that Santana had donné her. before she could touch it, two arms grabbed her and pulled her away. she was thrashing and kicking. she screamed with her powerful voice. luckily Ron wasn't very smart, so he didn't think to grab the gun. she kicked it as far as she could. she screamed again. Why didn't Kurt ou anyone, hear her?then she remembered. Everyone was on a date. She was left all alone to deal with this Psycho.
