I remember visiting this website once...
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
How The Sand Snakes Fooled The Audience and Other Thoughts (GoT Season Five)
It was an eventful season: we had a wedding, and a battle, and A Man! Plots began and ended depending on how good the characters were to expose themselves or to fool the audience, so much so that I had to honor some of them.
Sneaky little bastards told Bronn exactly how they planned to kill Myrcella all along, worst of all they told him while he was dying from poisoning in the next cell. All the while, half of the audience was enraged by gratuitous nudity and the other half by how ineffective Oberyn\'s daughters seemed to be, if only because, rather than the use of violence, they avenged their father using his favorite weapon, delievered by his favorite person upon their favorite victim. R.I.P. Myrcella, your family was outsmarted by the best.
There\'s nothing more satisfying than a traitor who gets his comeuppance, except for a victim to pick up the pieces of the man he once was and becomes an agent of his own destiny. Theon had been tortured for so long even I forgot he still existed, so when I saw him stop Myranda for all the times he couldn\'t stop her from hurting some girl, my heart skipped a beat.
And I know this won\'t bring Tansy back to life, it won\'t help Robb now, but there\'s still
and that some of him chose to fight rather than to witness any other crime he\'s powerless to stop. He\'s jumping forward and I, for one, want to jump with him.
Whenever I think of Stannis\'s legacy all I can think of is the things he missed out on because of his duty: good friends (Davos, Jon), family (Renly, Shireen, Gendry if he would\'ve had the chance), love even (be that his wife\'s or his mistress\'s). And all the things modern day men and women miss every day also, if only because of a deadline, a task or a new project ahead that steal those moments which should\'ve been spent with family, friends or lovers.
like he did. Make a plan, set a goal, but don\'t stop breathing and feeling and
all around you. It could be gone in an instant, just like it happened to him.
If for someone a face as as good as poison, then Jaqen H\'ghar must be the sweetest poison there is. He could be a grown man or a girl about Arya\'s age, he could be a familiar face or a stranger, he could be the one who thinks Arya is ready or the one who says that she\'s not, but he\'s always the teacher, a master of sorts and, above all, Jaqen.
His lessons are harsh, his motives a mystery. Arya doesn\'t really want to become no one - she needs to be someone to finish her list - and this whole give and take adds to the tension for we don\'t know what he wants quite like we did at Harrenhal, and
There\'s nothing more harrowing than to fight for a cause you\'ve already lost. That much Jon knew by the end of "Hardhome". There\'s no way to win the White Walkers. All he can do is try to save as many as he can for as long as he can. And hope there are still humans left by the time winter is over. He got so caught up on the bigger picture he couldn\'t see how his men felt about it.
To be honest, I don\'t think he cared about what they felt, so long as there were men left to feel something. In the end, to save hundreds of wildlings and dozens of brothers was worth it. Jon failed to pass on the direness of the situation, but the did protect them from it too. For as long as he could and to as many he could, just like he wanted.
I can\'t believe I forgot it, but reading your comments it is only fitting to add the most important Bonus Poll of all:
