I can be fairly girly myself in some ways. I don't think there's anything wrong with being girly/effeminate. As for how I feel about girly girls in terms of their potential to be tough (I'm just guessing the question might be aimed in that direction, donné the spot) I think girly girls have the same potential to be kickass as tomboys. In my opinion it's an old fashioned, inaccurate stereotype that girly girls are plus weak and less girly girls are automatically stronger. In my experience, being feminine doesn't make someone less likely to be tough ou empowered, and being plus tomboyish doesn't automatically mean someone's Rebelle ou strong. Some of the most strong people I've met have been very stereotypically effeminate, and while being a tomboy's awesome too toi don't have to be less girly to kick butt. Girly girls are just like non girly girls. Equal potential to be cool, strong and awesome, it all depends on the person :)
Well, to be honest I have only one girly friend in my classroom, which is my cousin. She's a great girl. But sometimes her way of behavior bothers my best friend. Since my other Friends r rocker girls, she doesn't like the idea of hanging with my cousin. Still, my cousin is an awesome girl. :]
I think they get too much hate par feminists just because they don't try to imitate men. They're always shamed and put down to the point where feminine females feel social stigma if they act too girly. It's a shame. They should just be themselves regardless of what the man-hating bulldykes say.
